TJC Development, LLC is a multifaceted real estate investment and development company that acquires raw or approved land throughout New Jersey. The partners of TJC Development have a combined 50 plus years of real estate development and construction experience. We consistently execute all our projects by utilizing sound business practices with an honest entrepreneurial spirit. Throughout every phase of development; from site selection, contract negotiations, and conducting due diligence through to engineering, permitting and approvals, we know the importance of creating responsible and new neighborhoods for everyone.

Our decisions are made quickly and without hesitation as we are aware that each project is unique and with their own challenges.  We understand the successful completion of each project depends upon the cooperation of local, county and state agencies and our willingness to develop with a creative eye towards the future.  Our proven track record in identifying exceptional market opportunities throughout New Jersey, gaining complex approvals and completing successful projects puts TJC Development, LLC at the front of the line as a respectable and honest land development company. 

TJC Companies has partnered with Scott Slagle for the oversight and management of our land development division, TJC Development, LLC.

Scott's tenure of direct land acquisition and development experience within New Jersey was earned through past positions with Baker Residential, Toll Brothers, Regal Homes, and The Nature Conservancy. Since 1999, Scott acquired, co-managed, and developed over 2,200 residential units plus 3,400 acres throughout the State of New Jersey.

Scott's particular talent is on site sourcing and selection, land planning strategy, financial modeling, land development, market analysis, and real estate cost and capital analysis. Scott also brings his specific industry experience of developing single-family, multi-family, mid-rise, urban infill, age-restricted, mixed-use, and commercial product to the TJC team.

Scott is a NJ son who graduated from The Richard Stockton College of NJ where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Environmental Studies.

TJC Development, LLC is always looking to acquire land suitable for residential and commercial opportunities anywhere in New Jersey.

We primarily look for land suitable for development of single and multi family housing. Land should be located near public water and sewer, and should be zoned to allow for a minimum of ten building lots.

We are extremely quick purchasers, and have the ability to close on the correct property with cash within thirty days. We buy residential land either raw, approved, or improved for development. We are especially interested in small parcels of residential land where an adequate density of homes could be developed.
